Still we can use our old Rs500 notes

Government has stopped using exchange of old  notes form today's midnight. But exemption certain transaction to use OLD Rs500 Notes till midnight of 15 December 2016.

The Allowed places are

Prepaid mobile recharge limit of 500 per recharge.

Consumer cooperative store with limit of 5000 at a time

Payment of central government and state government colleges fee's

Foreign citizens will exchange foreign currency up to 5000 per week. Should be made entry to their passport.

Pay water, electricity dues. Limited to individual and households

Pay toll fee from 3 December 2016  to 15 December 16.

Payment of school fee up to 2000 per student. Only central and state government , municipality and local body schools
