Dr Ramesh Babu, 61 years old, Metallurgical Scientist ,. Set a records for "MOST FOOTBALL GOALS HIT IN 1 MINUTE”, and “MOST HOCKEY GOALS HIT in 1 MINUTE". on Saturday, 23 Sept, 2017, commencing at 9 A.M. , at the Indian Institute of Science Gymkhana Hockey Field and Football Field. hit 91 footballs with 86 successful Goals in 1 Minute, and hit 101 hockey balls with 91 successful Goals in 58 sec.
"neither I am not a regular Hockey player nor a Football Player !!" Said Dr. Ramesh Babu.
"I had meticulously planned and practiced to perfection the most suitable configuration for placing the balls, foot movement and hitting technique to successfully make these 2 records. Manipulating proper direction of hitting throughout was the key to succeed in getting closer to 100% perfect goals." He added.
"The idea of playing these 2 records had occurred to me last year, when I was setting 2 World Records by playing Absolute Non-Stop Solo Hockey for 1 Hr., and Absolute Non-Stop Solo Football for 1 Hr. " Said Dr Ramesh Babu.
