There is no loss of life anywhere in today's violence in Utnoor and surrounding areas

Please refer incidents of violence reported today at Utnoor and its surrounding areas in Adilabad District.

A large number of forces have been mobilised and deployed in Utnoor and surrounding areas for maintenance of peace and public order. Two Companies of Rapid Action Force (RAF) also have been mobilised and rushed to the affected areas. Three officers of the rank of Inspector General of Police (IGP) namely Sri D.S.Chowhan IPS, Sri Anil Kumar IPS and North Zone IG Sri Y.Nagi Reddy IPS have been rushed to the spot to review the situation and take appropriate measures.

All the members of the public are requested to maintain restraint and help administration to restore normalcy. Specific cases are being registered in each incident of violence and Strong action will be taken against all the people who have indulged in violence.

A lot of rumors are in circulation in Social Media. There is no loss of life anywhere in today's violence. Two persons have reportedly died in a road accident near Asnapur village under Narnoor Mandal.

All the members of the public are requested to observe restraint. Action will also be initiated against all those who are spreading rumors in social media.

Orders under 144 Cr.PC have been imposed in the towns of Utnoor and surrounding areas. Situation is continuously being monitored from the Police Head Quarters at Hyderabad.
