Ap director of general police ordered to all police station from srikakulam to rajamandri should check all 4 wheel vehicles from 12 am to 6am on highways.
According to press release
1. A gang is moving on Highway and doing offences by using House breaking implements and gaining entry. Such offences are occuring near Highways.
2. An attempt occured in Pykaraopeta P.S limits yesterday which shows Gang is either going towards Vizag or East Godavari.
3. Gang name is "CHEDDI GANG" It is a MP based criminal tribe which usually operates in locked isolated houses and Apartments nearby highways.
Nearly 7to 8 persons will travel in THOFAAN jeep type vehicle (Trax vehicle type) with HB implements.
Recently they committed offences in VZA,GUNTUR&VISAKHAPATNAM CITY.
4. Hence it is requested to arrange Vehicle Checking from 12am to 6am at all important points on Highway and Check 4 Wheelers.
5. Such checking to be done from Srikakulam to Rajahmundry continuously.
